BE A TV STAR FOR THE DAY!

Surrey Youth Theatre are thrilled to have secured a run of “one day” TV Workshops with renowned award winning presenter, writer and actor Simon Davies in a town near you!

Whether you want to be a professional performer, see yourself on the screen, come along for fun or want to meet and work with someone famous then this day is FOR YOU!

During this exciting workshop, students will be introduced to the skills of acting and presenting for camera, surrounded by all the latest recording and studio lighting equipment.

SIMON DAVIES has been a respected actor and award winning writer for national TV for over 20 years, writing and starring in such hits as TIKKABILLA, MONSTER CAFE and PLAYDAYS whilst enjoying an international career as an actor. Having collaborated with the BBC, ITV, CH4 and many other production companies, Simon is best placed to offer advice for budding actors and presenters who want to pursue a career in the business. The skills students will learn from the day will not only give them a greater understanding of how the camera and business works but will help them gain confidence, creativity and communication skills.
